A presentation copy of the sole edition of Church of England Clergyman and schoolmaster Thomas Edwards' (1729-1785) parallel Latin and Greek text, followed by Latin and English notes, of the works of Greek bucolic poet Theocritus. This copy was presented by the author to the 'Hon. Mr. Conway', presumably courtier and politician Francis Seymour-Conway, 1st Marquess of Hertford (1718-1794), Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire at the time Edwards was vicar at Nuneaton.
