8vo. [3], vi-lxxxiv, 180pp. Without half-title. With an engraved portrait frontispiece, and an engraved folding map. Later diced half-calf, tan paper boards, gilt. Boards a trifle rubbed and marked, joints split, slight loss to head of spine. Private shelf-label of Porkington Library to FEP, lightly foxed, later manuscript note tipped-in to margin of p.145.
Historian William Hutton's (1723-1815) detailed narrative of the final significant battle of the Wars of the Roses. A second, much expanded edition would not appear until 1813.
