Slightest of rubbing to joints. Armorial bookplate of 'Jasper More' to FEP, plates a trifle browned, else internally clean and crisp.
A handsomely bound Regency printing of the verse of Anglo-Irish poet Oliver Goldsmith (1730-1774); including 'The Deserted Village', 'The Hermit', and 'The Traveller'. Includes an engraved title page and five further engraved plates from the hand of English painter and illustrator Richard Westall (1765-1836), who, whilst best known for his portraits of Byron, was also Queen Victoria's drawing master.
