A treatise by legal writer Paulus Montanus (1530-1587) on the statutes regarding the guardianship of wards as defined by Roman and Roman-Dutch law. The work, edited by the author's younger brother and first printed in 1595, proved popular with European legal professionals and saw a further seven editions up to 1680.
