The first edition of Louisa A. Marshall's translation of select devotional and moral writings by French Roman Catholic archbishop and theologian Francois de Salignac de La Mothe-Fenelon (1651-1715). Biographical details for Marshall are frustratingly minimal; this was seemingly her only printed work besides a translation of extracts from the works of Thomas A Kempis (London, 1812).
