A crisp copy, in original state, of a government issued guide for the use of the Anglican clergy in the proper registration of marriages, according to the various Acts of Parliament relating to the ceremony passed during the nineteenth-century. Particular detail is devoted to the correct naming of women previously married, and later divorced or widowed. An appendix provides example certificates and instruction on how information ought to be entered and corrections to errors made.
