A scarce, ephemeral handbill produced by William Davison (1781-1858), publisher, printer, bookseller, engraver, bookbinder and pharmacist in Alnwick. In 1807-8 he worked in partnership with John Catnach. In later years, he was one of the earliest printers to make use of the technique of stereotyping; and employed Thomas Bewick to illustrate his books.
