Leaves toned/foxed, slight shaving to upper margins - catching running-title at times, very small holes to gutter of titlepage and fore-edge of leaf C1. From the Bloxham bequest, Rugby School, parts of which recently dispersed, with two bookplates to FEP.
A sermon by Church of England clergyman and religious controversialist William Basset (bap. 1644, d. 1695) defending the form and theory of Anglican communion, delivered with his usual zeal for the established church.
