An anonymous letter on the controversy between the corporation and Church of England clergyman Nicholas Carter (d. 1774), minister at the chapel of ease in Deal. Carter published several controversial tracts on the Trinity and was ultimately suspended for omitting to preach the Athanasian Creed.
