A rare survival, in original state, of the sole edition of a provincially published sermon on the severity of violating the sixth commandment (under the Philonic division) 'Thou shall not kill', occasioned by the murder of Yorkshire landowner John Dyon at the hands of his brother and nephew (the pair were hanged on 4th April, 1828).
