A rare survival of a Dublin-printed edition of the revised official standing orders of the British Army, compiled by Adjutant General Henry Pigot (1750-1840) in order to 'remove the various Defects in Discipline, which may have been introduced, either through Negligence, or Prejudice, and confirmed by long Practice', in both English and Irish regiments.
