A crisp copy of the first London printing of an important underground publication, issued under the direction of Emmanuel d'Astier de la Vigerie (1900-1969), founder of the Liberation Sud resistance movement. The booklet was first published in Nazi occupied Paris on September 25, 1943, one month before this London edition. This issue contains the first publication of the 'Chant des Partisans' as well as a brief article 'Position de la France: Faire le point' by Albert Camus (1913-1960) under the pseudonym of 'Merlin'.
