Housed in original publisher's wooden box, bevelled lid with engraved colour illustration. Later clear adhesive repairs to box, pencilled gift inscription to base. Some pieces a trifle browned due to varnish deterioration.

A handsome Victorian block-based game portraying the monarchs of England, from William I to Victoria. Any challenge to a juvenile recipient in placing the blocks in chronological order is somewhat diminished given they are sequentially numbered.
