A collection of parodies by poet and essayist Coventry Patmore's (1823-1896) father, likely intended as a prose version of Horace and James Smith's Rejected Addresses (London, 1812). Of particular interest are imitations of two of the author's close friends, Charles Lamb and William Hazlitt.
