The first edition of the first English anthology of neo-Latin verse.

The collection contains several poems by William Dillingham (1617-1689), including 'Sphaeristerium Suleianum', inspired by the Earl of Westmorland's bowling green, as well as a plethora of translations from Church of England clergyman George Herbert (1593- 1633).
