Two political broadside ballads, irreverent and satirical in tone, each decrying the Whigs whilst championing the efforts of manufacturer, Chartist, and Radical Party member James Aytoun of Kirkcaldy (1797-1881) in the first election to the reformed House of Commons in 1832. Aytoun's electoral efforts were ultimately unsuccessful.
