A provincially published collection of verse, in original state, by Suffolk artist John Hugman (bap. 1770, d. 1846), including topical poems from the time of the Napoleonic Wars: 'On the greatness and fall of Buonaparte. As recited by the Author at a public dinner, April 18, 1814' and 'Monody on the death of the ever to be lamented Lord Nelson, Recited by the Author at a Public Dinner'. A seventeenth edition appeared by 1835.

All editions are scarce. COPAC and OCLC record a single copy of this eighth edition (BL).
