A revised edition of a remarkably popular nineteenth century recipe book compiled by Maria Eliza Rundell [née Ketelby] (1745-1828). First published in 1806, the book had immediate success, with between 5000-10,000 copies printed annually. It reached its sixty-fifth edition in 1841.
