A remarkably rare printed register of the state of the York and Ainsty Hunt hounds between 1841 and 1885. Printed in a tabular format, the list includes details of the hound's names (frequently majestic; 'Splendor', 'Harmony', 'Beauty', but sometimes rather less so; 'Volatile', 'Dreadnought' and 'Grappler'), and ages, in addition to their lineage; 'Sires' and 'Dams'.

Presumably printed in a very small number for private use; in the usual databases we could locate only one other copy of the list, at Virginia.
