Single sheet, printed on one side only. Bottom edge uncut. Woodcut vignette to head.
A slip sheet printing of a waggish ditty extracted from playwright and actor Thomas Knight's (d. 1820) musical farce The Turnpike Gate (1799). The sheet, published by T. Batchelar, a prolific printer of popular street literature, is apparently unrecorded, unsurprising given the cheap production common to all of Batchelar's efforts.
