A collection of translations from the Greek Anthology, compiled by poet John Herman Merivale (1814-1842) and the Reverend Robert Bland (1779-1825), described in the latter's obituary within The Literary Gazette as in 'possession of equivalent poetical language, and of musical verse, which often give them the air of originals'.
