London. Printed for R. Clavell, H. Mortlock and J. Robinson, 1693. Second edition, with great improvements.

Having first published his New State of England in 1691, praising the actions of the Prince of Orange during the Glorious Revolution against a perceived popish monarchy, Swiss lexicographer and historian Guy Miege (bap. 1644, d. in or after 1718), wrote this expanded version of far greater scope and detail. The work deals with the economics, social structure, and culture of England and Wales under King William and Queen Mary; the language, religion, laws, universities, and government of the nations.
