The first edition of Albion (and other poems) from Henry Sewell Stokes (1808-1895), Cornish poet and schoolfriend of Charles Dickens. Dedicated to the King, 'Albion, a poem commemorative of the Crisis', addresses the 1831 Reform Riots, provoked by the House of Lords' refusal to pass the second Reform Bill.
