A privately printed edition of Reynard the Fox, taken from the 1481 translation by William Caxton (c. 1422-c. 1491), and edited by Edmund Goldsmid. Caxton, thought to be the first person to introduce a printing press into England in 1476, was also the first English retailer of printed books.
