The first edition of a guide to 'tourist's grammar' by Thomas Dudley Fosbroke (1770-1842), English clergyman and antiquary. Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, Fosbroke would also write two volumes on the history of Gloucester, of which he was an important historian.
