William St Clair's copy of The life & letters of Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley. Written by Florence Marshall (1843-1922), writing under the pseudonym of Mrs Julian, this biography was the first full length work of its kind to be published on the late Gothic novelist, and contains an extensive array of letters.
