An apparently unrecorded fixed-price sale catalogue of 2,973 coins and medals issued by Swiss dealer Albert Sattler (1844-1899); seemingly the first of twenty-eight that he would produce throughout his career.
Between 1884 and 1886, Sattler served as vice president to the Swiss Numismatic Society, and thereafter president until 1890. He regularly contributed articles to both the Bulletin de la Société suisse de numismatique and the Zeitschrift für Numismatik. His extensive private collection of coins was dispersed at auction following his death across two days in October 1899.
