Uncut in modern brown cloth-backed brown paper boards, printed paper lettering-piece to upper board, lettered in gilt to spine. Original publisher's drab wrappers bound in. A trifle rubbed. Wrappers heavily marked/chipped, later typed bookseller's description tipped-in to half-title, ink-stamps of Nottingham Free Public Libraries to title page, and pages 25, 55, and 71, scattered spotting.
