The first edition, of the first book, of this satirical epic by English Poet Richard Owen Cambridge (1717-1802). Cambridge, whose major work, the Scribleriad (1751), is a mock-epic packed with literary in-jokes and satirical heroic caricatures, took inspiration from Horace for this volume in a parody of neoclassical adaptation.
