Some staining to title and very occasional light spotting to text, but largely internally clean and crisp.

A new edition, in French, of Giovanni Veneroni's (1642-1708) influential Italian language primer, first published in English in 1763. Veneroni, a Vedunian linguist, lexicographer and grammarian, found favour with the French court, rising to the position of secretary and interpreter to the Louis XIV.
