Rubbed and marked, splitting to joints, worming to spine, some loss to head of spine, and small worm-hole to foot. Early manuscript date to head of half-title. Endpapers browned, scattered spotting throughout.
The January 1810 edition of Boyle's Court and Country guide, which listed in alphabetical arrangement the 'names and places in town and country, of all the Ladies and Gentlemen of Fashion' in London.

The first edition of Boyle's Guide was published by Patrick Boyle in 1792, with this edition being compiled by his wife Eliza Boyle, who took over printing and publication in 1808, and would pass production on to her son after her. Boyle's guides would be published every year until 1925, culminating in close to 250 editions, with a delivery service being offered to those 'fashionable' people mentioned within.
