The second part, considered by Fraser to be an invaluable contribution to the subject, is a reissue of Government Botanist of the Colony of Victoria Ferdinand von Muller's Report on the forest Resources of Western Australia (1879); a detailed survey of the Jarrah woodland of the region, with proposals for their enrichment and preservation.
