An apparently unrecorded abridged edition of American Presbyterian author Susan Bogert Warner's (1819-1885) rural American novel, Queechy (1852). Writing under the Wetherell pen name, Warner received considerable acclaim for her first novel, The Wide, Wide World (1850); she would continue to write until her death, publishing over 30 individual works.
