An apparently unrecorded Genevan edition of French Renaissance humanist Jean Tixier de Ravisi (1470?-1542) immensely influential and enduring literary and poetic lexicon, first published at Paris in 1518.

Each 'epithet' is accompanied by references to major Latin poets and prose writers from antiquity to the author's time, and is accompanied by his appellations, with explanatory historical commentaries.
