A selection of Parliamentary dispatches relating to the governance of British controlled Canada, in particular the prosecution of prisoners detained following the instances of civil unrest experienced during the tumult of the rebellion the year prior; an insurrection ignited by disgruntled British citizens aggrieved by perceived failures of the government to provide sufficient political and financial security.

The present copy was once in the possession of the British American Land Company, an organisation established in 1832 to encourage British immigrants to settle in Lower Canada.
