A privately printed tribute to 'G. B. Lancaster' the pseudonym of Australasian author Edith Joan Lyttleton (1873-1945). One of New Zealand's most acclaimed writers, Lyttleton's primary themes were colonial identity and the legacy of imperialism. Her 1933 novel Pageant was undoubtedly her most successful work, topping the American best-seller list for six months.
