O. Edwards to FEP, foxed. Presentation copy, inked inscription to head of title: 'Mr. George Simms / with the Author's Regards'.
A presentation copy of the first edition of poet and playwright James Bird's (1788-1839) vibrant imitation of Byron's Don Juan, set in Scandinavia. A second edition appeared in 1824.
