An uncommon Colombo-printed pamphlet, preserved in original state, concerning Buddhist metaphysics, specifically the Abhidhamma Pitaka, the scholastic analysis of the Buddha's teachings recorded in the Suttas. The collection of essays, edited by German anthropologist Adolf Bastian (1826-1905), includes one entitled Heladiw Ruvana, by Chandrhat Chudhathar, Prince of Siam, as well as various extracts from the Ceylon Standard.
