Contemporary inked ownership inscription dated 'Oxford. 1890' to head of title; manuscript list of the novel's Dashwood family to verso of RFEP. Endpapers browned, very occasional light spotting.
A late nineteenth-century edition of Austen's seminal Regency Romance, in original cloth. The rear free endpaper bears a neat manuscript list of the novel's primary characters, the Dashwood family, perhaps inscribed by a dedicated - or confused - young reader.
