An apparently unrecorded Guernésiais publication, provincially published by local farmer and travel author Thomas-Mauger Bichard, comprising the memoir and journal of a remarkably pious methodist woman and member of the Le Poidevin family of Guernsey. The references in the text to an uncle and aunt Mahy and the inked ownership inscription of J. J. Roussel emphasise the volume's cross- community connections, creating links between some of Guernsey's most historic families.
