The first edition of Dartmoor, a book of poetry incorporating the scenery and traditions of Devon, featuring twelve landscape engravings. Nicholas Toms Carrington, also known as Noel Thomas (1777–1830), a member of The Plymouth Institution, would also publish The Banks of the Tamar (1820), another collection of Devon-inspired verse.
