A collection of Fairy Tales by Hans Christian Andersen, featuring illustrations by Danish artist Kay Nielsen (1886-1957), also known for his work as a set painter and for his collaborations with Disney, particularly on Fantasia. Nielsen would go on to illustrate two further fairytale collections: the first being a collection by the Brothers Grimm, and the second, titled 'Red Magic', concerning myth and legend from around the world.
