Worn, boards rubbed, joints split, loss to head of dulled spine, corners exposed. Armorial bookplate of John Bateman to FEP, spotting and light browning to endpapers, otherwise internally clean and crisp.
A revised edition of the only published poetry collection of British scholar William Broome (1689-1745), best known for his collaboration with Pope and Fenton in translating Homer's Odyssey.
