The first edition of a series of proposals on hospitals, theological colleges, and schools, composed by English lay religious writer and nonjuror Robert Nelson (1656-1715). Nelson, a much-published author of religious writings - on several occasions, by the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge - also wrote a Life of George Bull, Bishop of S. Davids from 1705 till 1710.
